On 5/16/2014, a new baby is born. And this spiritual birth is like 2 Cor 5:16.
2 Corinthians 5:16
So then we, from now on, know no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him so no longer.
Since the apostles judged that Christ’s death made us all, through His resurrection, a new man, a man not according to the flesh, they would no longer know anyone according to the flesh. They had known Christ in that way, but now they knew Him so no longer. The first know refers to the inward, subjective consciousness; known and the second know refer to the outward, objective knowledge.
– Footnotes from The Holy Bible Recovery Version
Before we were baptized, we get to know Christ according to the flesh, but after we are baptized, we know Him so no longer; we now know Him in our spirit.
Praise the Lord for this new birth!
